Our Story
Kyla was founded with the belief that everyone deserves access to proactive, personalized healthcare. By harnessing AI technology, we sought to bridge the gap between reactive treatments and preventative care. Since our inception, Kyla has grown to become a leader in AI-driven healthcare solutions, helping thousands of patients and providers improve health outcomes while reducing costs.
The Beginning
2018Kyla began its journey as Lifetime App, Inc., with the release of the first version of the Lifetime app. The initial platform was designed to promote longevity and anti-aging, offering users actionable insights to extend their lives and improve overall well-being.
Rebranding & Expansion
2019We rebranded as Kyla.com and launched the Kyla App. This new iteration of the app was equipped with expanded functionalities tailored to healthcare clinics, particularly for Action Urgent Care locations. The Kyla platform now included vital services such as patient management, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and lab result delivery—making healthcare more efficient and integrated for providers and patients alike.
Tackling the Pandemic
2020In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kyla launched the first-ever Kyla COVID solution for employers, enabling businesses to conduct on-site employee testing. This solution included an Employer Dashboard and a Mobile Web App, streamlining the testing process for workplaces across the country. During the pandemic’s toughest years, Kyla’s COVID platform tested millions of people, providing crucial support to businesses and communities.
Introducing Personal Healthcare Manager (PHM)
2021In 2021, Kyla introduced the Personal Healthcare Manager (PHM), a customized Electronic Health Record (EHR) system that leverages AI to deliver a seamless appointment flow. This system harnesses the power of AI to assist healthcare providers with scheduling, patient documentation, and real-time decision support, revolutionizing how clinics manage their patient care.
Launching Kyla Lab
2022We expanded our capabilities by building and launching the Kyla Lab, a facility capable of processing thousands of COVID-19 samples, blood spot cards, and traditional venipuncture samples daily. This innovation further solidified our commitment to providing timely and accurate diagnostics to support patient care on a large scale.
Expanding with AI Risk and Diagnostic Engines
2023Kyla took another significant step forward with the release of its Kyla Risk and Diagnostic Engines API. This commercialized API offers advanced AI-driven diagnostics, giving healthcare providers the tools to assess and manage patient risk profiles more effectively than ever before.
The Launch of Kyla MD Co-Pilot
2024In 2024, we introduced Kyla MD Co-Pilot, our AI-powered Clinical Decision Support system designed to automate routine tasks like scribing, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
