Try this delicious, simple quesadilla! Using a whole wheat tortilla instead of regular increases fiber – something we all need on a daily basis for digestive health. The protein from the ham combined with the healthy fats from the avocado makes this a satisfying meal. Choose part-skim cheese to decrease saturated fat content.

Ingredients
Makes 1 quesadilla
- 1 whole wheat tortilla
- ½ cup of part skim cheese
- 1 slice of ham
- ¼ piece of an avocado
Instructions
- Heat the tortilla on a skillet.
- Top with cheese, ham and sliced avocado.
- Fold the tortilla and cook both sides for 1 minute or until the cheese has fully melted.
- Enjoy!
