Did you know that traditional Indian spices &#8211; like turmeric and garam masala &#8211; are rich in antioxidants? Garam masala is typically a mixture of the following spices: black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, cumin and nutmeg. These spices have anti-inflammatory properties. Turmeric is high in curcumin which is also a powerful antioxidant. Or cook on the stove top covered for 18-20 minutes on medium heat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve with rice, baked potatoes or salad.
